My Gut Feel and comments:
Zoya had made two films before and one thing is common is the slow paced screenplay with non-typical style of cinema which has its own target audience and unquestionably  does not have a mass appeal like any conventional main stream cinema.  Same seems to be a case with “dil dhadakne do”. This seems to be kind of cinema which would get mix reactions from audience and even critics. Keeping the star cast in frame one might can get baffled and expect  high voltage swift screenplay and storyline going by their reputation derived out of the work these actors were assosiated in recent past however I can sense a movie which is so Zoya type where a story moves along slowly and steadily with some sparkling moments here and there in bits and pieces.

This time I am seriously worried about the length of the movie which is around 2 hours 50 minutes which seems to be on higher side going by standard length typical audience expect and appreciate these days. With a kind of cinema and storytelling Zoya and Reema Kagti are associated with lengthier film is a risky affair.

Going by the canvas, star cast, story line and on top of that the narration style I would give 3 stars out of 5, two day before the release with partial thumps up from my side with a hope that my worries have been addressed well and movie turned out to be a decent entertainer.
